CHENG Concrete Countertop Sealer is a water-based, non-toxic concrete sealer designed for use on kitchen and bath concrete countertops. This hybrid concrete sealer provides protection without creating a "plastic-looking" finish, allowing the warm luster and beauty of the concrete to shine through.

The product is available in two bottle sizes: a 500 mL bottle that covers 30 sq ft, and a 4 L bottle that covers 240 sq ft. CHENG Concrete Countertop Sealer is 100% food-safe, making it suitable for use on kitchen countertops. It is also UV resistant, making it ideal for both interior and exterior applications. The sealer has zero VOCs, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

To apply the sealer, it is recommended to work in a dust-free, shaded, and well-ventilated area to prevent the sealer from drying too quickly, which can lead to streaking. The sealer should be diluted with tap water, using a ratio of 30% sealer to 70% water, to make it easier to apply and reduce the risk of streaking.

The concrete surface must be thoroughly rinsed with clean water and dried before applying the sealer. If the concrete has been sealed and waxed before, the wax should be removed using mineral spirits. The sealer is best applied in thin, uniform coats, starting with the edges and working methodically across the entire surface. The sealer should be allowed to soak into the concrete, and any excess should be wiped up with the same rag used to apply it.

For "new" concrete, the sealer should be applied 3 to 6+ times until the concrete no longer darkens when water is dripped on the surface. Once the sealer has dried overnight, a water-drop test can be performed to ensure the concrete is fully sealed. If the surface darkens, the sealing process should be repeated until the water-drop test is passed.

After the concrete is fully sealed, the surface can be burnished with diamond-infused hurricane pads to remove any streaks or adjust the surface sheen.
