Seal-Krete 5 gal. Heavy Duty Waterproofer is a water-based acrylic formula designed to stop water penetration into low density or porous vertical concrete and masonry services. This formula, which contains 25% solids, provides a tough, flexible, and breathable film that prepares these surfaces for painting. When added to paint, Seal-Krete Heavy Duty Waterproofer improves speed rate, increases coverage, and extends paint life. The product is excellent for binding chalky surfaces on painted or bare vertical substrates, including concrete blocks, tilt-ups, stucco, and aluminum siding.

A 5 Gal. container of Seal-Krete Waterproofer can waterproof up to 1,500 sq. ft. of surface area. To effectively lower the surface pH, the manufacturer recommends applying two coats of the heavy-duty water proofer 10 days after new stucco has been placed. Once the product has dried, the surface can be painted, which can be done up to 3 weeks faster than usual.
